Mother nature is our role model. Right before our eyes we found a sustainable raw material that we can use in a completely new way. Thanks to the long-fiber and slow-growing softwood, we have discovered a natural material that treats the environment better than conventional materials such as leather or synthetic fibers.

Kraft paper

A special finish makes the kraft paper extremely durable and tear-resistant. Thanks to its special properties, it is also water-repellent, long walks in the rain are no problem and it can even be washed by hand at 30°C. With increasing use, the kraft paper becomes softer, giving it its characteristic leather-like structure.

Linen fiber

In order to make our backpacks and shoppers as durable and long-lasting as possible, we chose linen fibers (flax) for the interior and shoulder straps. Thanks to their tear resistance, the ecological natural fibers are particularly durable and long-lasting. With a density of 8 oz, the inner lining also looks particularly high-quality. Our linen fibers are tested for harmful substances and produced sustainably according to OEKO-TEX® guidelines.

Zippers

For us, the zipper is one of the most essential elements of a bag or backpack. A snagged or even broken zipper can be very frustrating. That's why when selecting zippers for our products, we chose the renowned global market leader YKK, which is known for its outstanding quality and reliability. The laser-engraved acronyms (P&S) are a loving detail that gives each product an individual touch.

Closures

We chose a G-Hook closure, which is known for its ease of use and robustness. These clasps provide a secure fastening yet open quickly, making them ideal for everyday use. Our backpacks and bags are equipped with high-quality metal elements that are used in two different versions. The brushed brass finish gives the products a warm tone and harmonizes perfectly with the natural color of the kraft paper. For all other color variants we use a dark metal gun solid finish. The intentionally uneven finish makes scratches and signs of wear barely visible and gives each closure a unique look.

The Forest Stewardship Council® certification means that the origin of our kraft paper must meet strict standards for the protection of forests and the animals and people that depend on them.
